Rajasthan-based digital payments platform Getepay has received final authorization from the Reserve Bank of India to operate as a Payment Aggregator. This milestone positions Getepay as the first company from Rajasthan to secure such a license, highlighting its commitment to enhancing digital payment solutions across India.
Since its inception, Getepay has supported over 1.5 million merchants, including small retailers and educational institutions, by offering secure and accessible digital payment services. With the RBI approval, the company aims to expand its operations, particularly targeting small businesses in tier-2, tier-3, and rural regions.
This development reflects the broader trend of fintech companies leveraging regulatory support to drive financial inclusion and digital transformation in emerging markets.
